Up for auction is a nice very solid 1976 Karmann Super Beetle convertible. The beetle was once owned by a VW mechanic who rebuilt the engine and in 2010 when I bought the vehicle it only had a couple of hundred miles on the new engine. I have since put maybe 2000 miles on it. At the time of the engine rebuild a new clutch was installed, he emergency brake was adjusted, ew vent tubes were put in and there were new center caps and lugnut caps. Since I have owned it the muffler and tail pipe were replaced, it has completely new brakes (2015), stereo system was installed and seat belts were added to the rear seat. The tires still have tread, ll the doors lock and all the windows work. The seats, hich are original, ave no rips, ears or watermarks. They have custom seat covers, ood for those hot days, ut these can easily be removed. The original dash has no cracks or fades. It also comes with chrome pedals, brake handle and chrome Empi lockout shifter. The front and rear door panels were also replaced. This VW has no rear bumper, lthough this can be installed if desired, ut it really doesn’t take away from the aesthetics of the vehicle. I actually think it makes it look like an older model. The paint and body are in good condition. The convertible roof was new when I purchased it but since a tear was created on one side from lowering it, will instruct you how to do this properly. I have patched it and made the patch look cool, ind of like it was meant to be that way by making it a VW emblem patch. See pics. There are a couple of other small tears that I have patched as well. I have really enjoyed the bug but due to some financial restraints I must sell her. If you are local and would like to see it and test drive it, lease give me a call as I live in a gated community. 540-797-4172. Thank you and happy bidding.
