For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is a rare triple white 1976 Volkswagen Super Beetle Convertible. During 1976 a worldwide demand started to increase again for the convertible so the order was sent to Karmann in Osnabrück to increase production of the convertible from 33 to 50 units per day. That year there were very few convertibles being produced by U.S. Automakers. The increase in sales also sparked the release of one of the most popular special editions the Triple White convertible. The car was done in white because it was Germanys racing color. Alpine White paint with an Opel interior white convertible top and white wheels really gave these Beetles a unique look. Limited Edition badging lets you know you are not looking at a normal Beetle! The Super Beetle was set apart by a MacPherson front suspension full sized instrument panel and panoramic windshield. Over 21 million of the same model VW Beetles built in 65 years makes the Beetle the longest running and most produced vehicle ever! This Triple White Super Beetle has options including AM/FM radio manual convertible top seat belts vinyl interior fender skirts and radial tires. A 1600 CC or 97 CID fuel injected 4 cylinder engine is backed by a four speed manual transmission making her an absolute blast to drive while maintaining very good fuel economy. This particular vehicle is very well documented from the day it was first sold to today! To see more HD pictures and video please visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
