Rear Damage Engine and Tranny Work, High miles

Our Accountant owned this vehicle and while it was parked at his place of business one weekend, someone apparently tampered with the emergency brake and the car rolled backward down a pretty good grade and centered the rear-end on a tree that was too large to avoid damage. We bought it from him thinking we might patch it up but it's more than we want to tackle.
