This VW Split Window truck is ready for restoration. It is all original minus the motor although I do have a 1968 motor that ran well and is not seized that will come with the truck. The truck bed floor and fold down sides are surprisingly rust free. Also the roof of the cab has no rust and is in excellent condition. There is rust to the cab floor and underside and some on the front wheel wells. The rocker panels are also rusty and someone hasscrewed some sheet metal over them at some point.There is a dent in the front panel by the passengers side headlamp. All glass is missing. The original seats are still fitted but need to be repaired and re-upholstered.
This is a restoration project but is a good original basis to start with and they are becoming much harder to find in this condition. The paint is all original.
