1960 vw karmann ghia

Begrudgingly selling my 1960 patina'd Cal Look VOLKSWAGEN Karmann Ghia. This is a very cool car and attracts attention everywhere it goes. I got the car in Texa, where it had been parked since 1976. I went through ALL of the mechanicals first. The brake system was completely replaced from the master cylinder to all of the hard lines to the wheel cylinders... Drums all turned and semi metallic brake shoes were installed. A later model 1967 short axle transmission was installed, complete with new axle boots. A new Sachs clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing were installed as well. The Ghia now sports a smooth running 1600 single port motor with rebuilt 34mm dual Dellorto carburetors. The motor was full flowed and an oil filter was added. It purrs going down the road. The car has new KYB gr2 shocks all the way around. The link pin front end has 2 1/2 " drop spindles to give the car it cool stance....The Ghia rolls on a set of EMPI Sprint Stars ...The electrical has all been gone through and upgraded to 12 volt. Everything works....including the sapphire l radio and the dash background lights ... I custom built a very cool looking tachometer that looks stock and looks factory. The interior Has all been done as well. The Headliner, door card, seats and carpet are new....All in al, a very cool ride. This car is priced to move ....Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that it is a one key car....
