Maintenace: just installed NEW brakes pads and New brake cross drilled and slotted rotors on all 4 wheels. New DOT4 synthetic brake fluid. New engine oil and filter. New transmission fluid and filter. New diesel fuel filter. New coolant. New cabin filter. Service that needs to be done before 100k miles: Timing belt job and DMF flywheel replacement. This is the 100k miles service required on all VW with a diesel engine and DSG transmission. It is recommended to be done around 80k miles to prevent catastrophic failures. If the timing belt jumps or brakes it can damage the engine. The dual mass flywheel can also come apart and destroy the transmission and the engine. The dmf has some chatter noticeable at idle and with load. I can do all this service for $1. 00 on top of the winning bid if you so desire. $500 deposit required.
