1969 Volkswagen VW Kombi Bus Van. This is a European import. Was brought to the US in the 1980s. The speedometer is even still in Kilometers and not MPH. This bus runs, drives and is registered in California through Jan 2017. Everything is pretty much stock original. No engine upgrades or anything. Needs lots of work to make it perfect, but it is a good start. Lots of body rust, dents, dings, etc. I even have the original Austrian Import paperwork that is called a Typenschein. This is a document that allows importation from Germany into Austria. Very Rare. Here is the bad. Rust, turn signal indicator device is broken, heat??? Windshield wipers don't work, seats need to be reupholstered, no back seats, needs new headliner, horn does not work, rear cargo hatch does not have a latch. Leaks oil onto the ground from someplace, does not smoke though, just drips out. Not a professional paint job. Front windshield cracked. Original engine and transmission, so top speed is 50-60 MPH. (life in the slow lane) No antenna, no front badge. Here is the good. 4 brand new tires with less than 100 miles on them, brake lines replaced, brakes are strong, new shoes, rebuilt master cylinder, some engine work has been done, top end work, as reported by previous owner. Tranny good, clutch good, engine is strong, does not smoke. Spare rim (spare tire no good) You can drive it away today, just stop and check oil. Located in Coarsegold, CA off of Hwy 41. Just down the hill from Yosemite National Park, and up the hill from Fresno. I DO NOT KNOW HOW MUCH IT COSTS TO SHIP IT. PLEASE DO ALL INVESTIGATIONS, RESEARCH ETC YOURSELF.
