VW GTI 1.8 turbo charged engine, with a transmission problem

For sale a beautiful 2003 VW GTI 1.8 turbo charged engine coupe with 167,664 miles.The car has an automatic transmission with a problem (malfunctional solenoids) which cause it to stutter during gear changes (hence the check engine light on and the price drop). The actual mechanics of the transmission are in good working order.Otherwise, the engine is in great condition. It has factory paint with very minor cosmetic wear and tear signs. The upholstery is replaced with a black one. I am the second owner and it was garage kept for the past 5 years. It has new firestone tires with <5000 miles and a new battery and original spare tire and tools. The car was maintained professionally, with clean title. It was never in an accident.
