1984 Volkswagen Rabbit Convertible Wolfsburg Edition Convertible 2-Door 1.8L

Very fun summer car, but unfortunately, I need to buy a car for my kid now. This is a 1984 vw rabbit convertible wolfsburg edition -- 4 seats; 2 door, manual transmission, pull out radio front with USB ports so you can charge your phone/listen to an ipod. There are less than 104,000 miles, I'd guess closer to 103,500. Has some rust spots, some scratches, and the back seats really need work, but they are still in the car and covered with a blanket and people sit in the back seats. Needs fluids as I had it out and the fluids lights came on so I immediately garaged it. I'm not a mechanic, but have had one look at it and he says it's a great, sturdy car. The right person could have this looking sharp in no time. I'm located on the NW side of Chicago if you'd like to see it. I also have it posted for sale locally. This is an AS IS car. Once purchased, it's no longer mine. I'd suggest bringing fluids with you to fill it, or towing it behind another car to get it home. I don't have pictures as I post this but can add some later. There is no power steering in the car either -- never has been. $2500 through Paypal or cash only, but must be paid in full. I have the title in hand and will sign it at pickup.
