1967 Volkswagen Bus 1500 11-Window DeluxeSome facts about this super clean VW Bus:The original paint color was blue (so faded that we couldn't tell what the exact color was. other than faded blue. )It was consequently stripped and painted by Brown's Volkswagen Auto Body Shop with a period correct 2-stage Coral paint. This VW Bus 11-Window Deluxe was registered in 2011 with 102029 miles. and currently shows 103. 16 miles. Original body had zero rust. no major collisions/factory straight. Nothing was welded. floor was perfect and rust free. Entire body was stripped and refinished. The motor is not factory original (has more power). and has 40mm carbs with displacement unknown. Dealer installed Porsche wheels. and disc brakes all-around. Bus was lowered 2-3" inches prior to purchase. Transmission is a Beetle transmission (which has better gearing as it does away with the reductive boxes) which creates reduced gearing and better highway performance. Audio Express. located in Richmond. VA installed and tuned the existing audio which includes Apple TV. Alpine head unit (CDE-HD149BT). and Focal speakers and subwoofers. all powered by a separate amp. Cobra Compact 800 Watt Power Inverter CPi880. and battery.
