2006 VW JETTA TDI MANUAL TRANSMISSION 1 OWNER PACKAGE 1

I am selling my 2006 VW Jetta TDI. I am the original owner and have always maintained it. This car was purchased and has always been registered in North Carolina. so it doesn't have any rust like a northern car usually gets. This car has never been smoked in and has a clear title. It comes with 2 keys/remotes and a valet key along with the owners manual. At the 100. 00 mile service the cam was inspected for the known wear problem and the cam and lifters were replaced along with the timing belt. The premature cam wear was a notorious problem that VW didn't acknowledge but they did change the recommended oil viscosity that apparently cured the problem. At the 200. 00 mile service the cam and lifters were once again inspected and were perfect. The 200. 00 mile service included the following new parts. timing belt. water pump. serpentine belt. all the hardware. pulleys and tensioners related to the belts. fuel filter. clutch kit including pressure plate. friction disc. flywheel. and throw out bearing. All fluids and filters were also replaced at this time. Not long before the 200. 00 mile service the car needed tires and all 4 were replaced with a new set of take-offs. These tires and wheels came off of a new 2014 Jetta. At about 160. 00 miles the trunk latch was replace with the VW upgraded latch. The trunk latch was a known issue as well on these cars. Some of the features include heated seats. power and heated mirrors. power windows and locks. 6 disc stereo with Sirius radio. moon roof. ability to open or close windows with the remotes. and weather Monster mats (drivers mat is showing its age). The weather guard mats were installed when the car was new so the carpet is still in very nice condition. This car is very dependable and I wouldn't think twice about taking it across country. This is my daily driver so the mileage shown will go up. The car handles exceptionally well and the brakes work perfectly. The rear brakes were recently replaced (new pads and rotors from VW) and the front brakes have plenty of life left to them. At 220. 00 miles the oil. oil filter and fuel filter were replace. This car doesn't burn oil nor does it leak any fluids. While this car is in very nice condition. it is not new. There are a few small chips in the paint. If you are in the area I invite you to come see the car in person. I am just over 1/2 hour from the Charlotte Douglas International Airport and I would not mind picking you up from there if you wanted to fly in. Please ask any and all questions before making an offer or hitting the buy it now option. The low starting price is in no way an indication of what I feel the car is worth. This car is also listed locally so I reserve the right to cancel all bids and end the listing early if it does sell locally. The photo shows the 2 remote key fobs. but there is also a valet key that my daughter has so I was unable to include it in the photo. That is the owners manual in the photo with the keys. In my opinion. the most visible signs of wear are the following items. the steering wheel. some of the window and radio controls (finish is flaking off a little) the key fob I carry (panic button is missing but a replacement is under $7 on Ebay) and the drivers floor mat. I feel this car is in very good condition for its age and mileage.
