Up for auction is my wife's 64 Volvo. This is the third one she has owned. and the best one by far. She bought it in 2001 and had a professional restoration done about 2002. It's always been garaged. but in 14 years it has gotten a chip or two in the paint or some spots on the chrome. but these are at a minimum. It's no longer perfect. but I bet it's better than 98% of them out there. It runs perfect with the Weber carburetor. starts so quick you can't get your hand off the key quick enough. The transmission is as smooth as silk and it has some tall gears in it. great for highway cruising. Her first two Volvo's must have had lower gears in them. as at 60 they were wound pretty tight. We had the A/C installed and it still blows nice and cold. Overheating has never been a problem since it's running the summer fan and there is a 6 inch electric pusher fan that comes on with the A/C. The original radio and owners booklets go with it as well as the original wheels. beauty rings and hubcaps. I believe the mileage is correct. she has only put about 5000 miles on it since she has owned it. and it's a tight little car. We have had no issues with the car in the 14 years and it's no wonder that this is the model that gave Volvo the rock solid reputation. Please ask questions before you bid and please don't ask what the reserve is.
