1973 Volvo 1800 ES Sports Wagon - Needs Fuel Pump

I973 1800 ES - Needs Fuel Pump. I've owned this car for over 15 years and have, or the most part, one the maintenance and repair work. For example, ylinder head was refurbished and had hard valve seats installed to better resist erosion from using unleaded gas. Water pump, am shaft, ifters, nd timing gears, eplaced. New exhaust system installed about 7 years ago (note: a few exhaust hangers need adjustment). Master brake and power booster replaced by Volvo dealer. Air conditioning does not work.
Odometer stopped working around five years ago, ut I have a spare and it will go the the lucky new owner. I also have 2 spare rear window/tailgates and will offer one for sale to the new owner (very hard part to find, o get one now) By the way, ou can really see if someone is tail gating you when you look through that one large piece of glass.
About 4 years ago, spent over $3,500 for new metal panels to replace rusted ones and the car was painted bright orange, hich is the original color of the car. There still are some areas showing signs of rust that need to be addressed.
The last time I drove the car was about a year ago and it ran fine. Unfortunately, he fuel pump broke loose from its mounts under the car, ehind the fuel tank, nd was dragged on the pavement. Surprisingly, t kept pumping away and I had no idea there was a problem, ntil someone yelled to me that I was dragging my fuel pump and that sparks were flying up and around. So I turned off the engine, ot some duct tape (always keep a roll in the car) and taped the pump back in and drove the car home. I did remove the pump, ut never got around to installing another.
The car needs a good home, o please consider taking her home with you. Only around 8000 sport wagons were built by Volvo, rom 1972-73, o this is a really rare car. Thanks for looking.
