We are a 37 year old Volvo Specialty Shop (not a car dealer) in N.C. Occasionally one of our customers sells us a car because they can no longer use it. This car belonged to one of those customers. They purchased this car from the original owner and had maintained it meticulously in the last 15 years since. Unfortunately, hey could no longer use two cars. The Free Vehicle History Report is in error reporting that this car was wrecked and towed in. A rental car user claimed the previous owners son bumped into the rental car while driving this car and then left the scene. An investigation took place, here was no evidence this car was damaged and in fact it was driven home. To avoid being cited for leaving the scene the previous owners insurance company paid a $380 claim to the rental car company. This car was not damaged or towed.
