1965 ? Motobi Sprite 200 Benelli Ducati PROJECT

The bike in the main pic is NOT the bike I am selling. This is a project bike. Up for auction (reluctantly) is my 1960's (I think it is a 65) Motobi Sprite 200 with horizontal egg motor. Motor is not frozen. These are increasingly very hard to come by. I know because I have been searching for years here!. The bike is in parts. which can be seen in all the other pics. NO TITLE. I found the frame with motor and a few other old parts in a salvage yard. It had the original speedometer (included in this sale) which says only 1551 miles. I have been collecting all the other parts for 3 years and I believe the only thing that is missing is a piston. rear shocks. and tires. Included are 4 sets of nos Motobi decals for the tank! Tank has one small. hardly noticeable ding. and is VERY clean inside! The Benelli 200cc is basically the same bike. so parts are interchangeable. I am not a mechanic. and so I cannot guarantee anything about the motor. All I know is that it seems to be complete. There is too much to list and describe here. so please feel free to ask questions. and examine the photos. There are many multiple parts. such as fenders. headlight bucket. side covers. seat. nbsp;etc. There is enough to build a beautiful bike if one has the time and knowhow!!!! I do not have the time. and have recently admitted to myself that that is the case. I hate to let this go. but I feel that it will just sit and gather dust and rust if I don't let it go to someone who will be able to bring it to life. Anyone who knows what they are looking at here would know how great a bike this will be. It will be a fantastic addition to anyone's collection of vintage bikes. ps. When I disassembled the parts from frame. motor. forks. swing arm. etc. I obviously saved and labelled the bolts and all hardware for re-assembly.
