Ever hear of a Motom motorcycle? I had not until I got this in trade a while back.
I have no time to research or restore it, o I am putting it up for auction here with a low initial bid and no reserve.
I am selling the rolling and rusty Motom motorcycle or moped along with the spare rolling chassis - both for one price. I do not have any other parts, pares or info. That's it. No title or other paperwork. So if that doesn't work for you please do not bid.
As far as I can tell, otoms were manufactured in Milan Italy from 1947 until 1970. They were all 48cc single cylinder powered until 1952, hen they introduced the "big displacement" 160cc version in 1952. Then they offered a 98cc version starting in 1955. I have no idea what size these two machines are. Both frames look similar, ut the front ends are quite obviously different.
Ebay insists I enter year, ileage and title description. I made this up, o idea on year (guessing 1950s or '60s), nd there is NO TITLE, nd no idea of mileage as there is no speedometer or odometer.
While there are broken and missing parts, his should be an excellent start to a fun winter restoration. Please note the 2 white (and rust) bikes are in the auction, he red one is just a photo I found on the Internet to show what it can and should look like after a restoration. I have not tried to start or even turn the engine over.
