1966 Gilera 124-5v/Sears SR 124-5. This is a 4-stroke. single cylinder. ver-head valve. push-rod engine. It has a 5 speed transmission. Under 300 miles on the odometer. Original Perelli tires on it. The miles are accurate as I can tell; the brakes and chain have never been adjusted. This is identical to the Gilera except it wore Sears badges originally. I cleaned the carburetor. replaced the float. repainted some of the fender and frame areas with light touch-up. adjusted the points. checked the valves. changed the oil and started it up. I chose to refinish the gas tank with the Gilera badges as there were available and I liked the silver color that was chosen. The lights work. It starts up in about 2 kicks. These are recent pics. I took it for a short ride. I do not have a title; but I've run the frame numbers thru the State of NE system it shows it's never been title here. Email me with any questions.
