Description

This bike is built to order by Worth Motorcycle Company (worthmotorcycles. org). a nonprofit organization that teaches at-risk youth the art of vintage European motorcycle restoration. We are a 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit which means that this motorcycle qualifies for a tax deduction. K (obviously not his real name) and I are working on this bike. which. to some degree. can still be built to order (it will be ready in about 6 weeks). I don't know too much about K yet. Last week was his first as a Worth apprentice. This is what I know: K is14 and lives in the Bronx with his mom. dad. and two sisters. He seems quite thoughtful and inquisitive. K spent a good part of last week asking me personal questions (what's your favorite car. what's your favorite bike. what kind of music do you like. etc. ). He seems to be using me as some sort of 'cool barometer. assessing his degree of 'coolness' by measuring it against mine. He likes dirt-bikes (his dad had one). Ferraris. Kung-Fu movies. and the band Chicago. which I'm still laughing about. I like him. We're all curious to see how his apprenticeship plays out. Below is a list of features and options. If you're interested in options. these costs will added to final price after sale. This will be sorted by buyer and Worth after the sale.
