1952 Zundapp KS601 Plunger BMW R68 R51/3 Post War Classic German Motorcycle

1952 Zundapp KS601. Green Elephant. bought from friend and restorer John Wilson in 1992. Had been awarded Longest Distance ridden to meet at A. M. C. A. meet in Cypress Gardens in the 80's. before restoration. picture shown. Zundapp was a complete nut/bolt restoration using mostly NOS parts. Reproduction parts used were. Quality chrome rims. Buchanan spokes. made to exact specs. at a price of $250 in 1990. quality German exhaust. nbsp;headers/mufflers. Motor completely rebuilt. cylinders. heads. transmission. all new bearings and seals. Many NOS parts used. Tank Badges. Headlight Lens/Ring. Sidecar handle bars. with correct controls. and original non flanged Magura grips. Hella tail light. Original crash bars. with new chrome plating which still shows as new. as does all chromed items . All rubber parts replace with genuine Zundapp items. tires. 3. 50x19 Metzlers. Pagusa seat. Correct fender rack. horn. and ratcheting center stand. Correct Bing Carburetors 1/25/1 and 1/25/2. NOS fuel Petcocks. and it comes with an original ultra rare tire pump. This was a five year venture on the restoration. Much time was spent on the accumulation of NOS. or the very best of parts available. Zundapp has attained the following awards:A. M. C. Over the years I have owned this motorcycle I have never seen a nicer. more correctly restored KS601 Zundapp. Many compliments have come from Vintage Enthusiasts from Germany saying "Das Best"Zundapp has run at all meets/shows. gas has always been drained after each event. as it is today.
