Very nice 1980 BMW R100RT. 42. 08 original miles. Comes with original red fender. matching red full fairing with windscreen. panniers. and pannier mount with luggage rack. On May-03-15 at 15:11:46 PDT. seller added the following information: I should note that the bike has been in my family for almost 10 years and was previously owned by my brother who is a Aircraft Mechanic. He obsessed over the bike and made sure it was always in top shape. The clutch and rear drive splines are in very good shape and have been lubed. The clutch is was still in spec at 30K miles when the rear main seal was replaced. Pushrod seals where replaced at 39K in 2008 and the lifters were inspected with no defects noted. The intake and exhaust valves for both cylinders are solid with no signs of recession between service intervals. The throttle tube and gear with chain was replaced at 29K and new throttle and clutch cables at 32K. The fuel tank is mint inside with Zero rust. This bike has never wanted for maintenance and is in very good shape with some cosmetic blemishes that go with being 35 years old.
