1966 BMW R27 Police Motorcycle NO RESERVE

Here we have a 1966 BMW R27. This bike was said to have been a police bike early in its life. This BMW r27 VIN 386068 was manufactured on May 04th 1966 and delivered on May 13th 1966 to the company Coutinho in Hamburg Germany. The bike was originally equipped with a bench seat. The originalcolorwas not mentioned in the delivery books. Which is the first time I have seen a color not recorded by BMW. Which makes me believe that it was notmeantfor public use and was used by the Police. I also have been told this bike also isequippedwith a police right passenger side side stand. This bike was restored many years ago and is now showing its age. Still a pretty bike in my eyes. The bike has been part of a private collection and hasn'tbeenrun for awhile until this past week. I did get her to idle for a few seconds but not long enough to shoot a video or ride it so I am listing it as a non running project. Actual miles are unknown. The frames VIN and engine number match. There is a title clean FL title from me for the bike. I will now let my 74 picture slideshow I provided in the listing do the talking. You must use a regular computer or laptop to see the slideshow . As long as the bike is paid for in full within 7 days after the auction has ended then she can sit here for up to two months but would like it picked up as soon as possible.
