Description

I am reluctantly selling my beautiful 1995 BMW R1100GS. It's in very good condition and has always been adult owned and responsibly ridden. The R1100GS Series is considered by many enthusiasts to be the best of the BMW GS line and the last to capture the true essence of the classic BMW Dual-sport style, nd it's considered to be the world standard for reliability. These bikes regularly go 300,000 miles, ith reports some approaching the half million mile mark! I personally have ridden this bike year round, nd it's a blast to ride year-round.
This bike is almost completely stock, ith the exception of a Corbin seat, ID headlight, ftermarket Hand Guards and Brand-New Speigler Braided Brake Lines, front and rear). The bike is perfect working condition and ready for any adventure. These bikes are meticulously engineered and maximum performance and ride comfort is achieved with stock parts, o I try to stay away from so called aftermarket "Upgrades."
I'm selling it because I simply don't ride it enough anymore (and garage space is at a premium right now) but more importantly, t deserves to be in the hands of someone who will thoroughly enjoy it. I've always changed all of the fluids at the beginning of every season (Oil, ransmission fluid, ear end gear oil.) This year, he old fluids looked great with no evidence of any excessive wear on any components (as usual). The air cooled, uel injected Boxer twin engine starts immediately in any weather condition and runs quietly and smoothy with tons of power. The clutch is good, nd the brakes are new with less than 100 miles on the pads and brand-new Speigler braided lines. Tires are Continental "ATTACK" series for great performance in all weather conditions. Keep in mind that it is a 20 year old bike at this point, o it's not perfect, ut I would not hesitate to personally ride it across the country tomorrow if I had the need to.
Here are some of the features:- All fluids changed less than 1000 miles ago-Tires have many, any happy miles left!- ABS in excellent working condition- Heated handlebar grips- BMW hand guards- HID headlight- Stock exhaust system is nearly silent for fatigue-free riding-Stock Rear Shock was replaced @ 76,000 miles/Forks & Front was done the following year (2009?)-CORTECH Tank Bag ($119.00 New/Bought in 2014)- JESSE? HEPCO? BECKER? Rear Panniers...Whoever built them, hey're overbuilt!-18" AERO Windshield- Corbin saddle (Front and Rear) w/ Corbin (or any knock-off) Slide-In Backrest capability. Seat has cracking on seat cover but has newer (3 seasons) slip-covers on front and rear seats Front Slip-On Cover has a small hole (3") and I'm trying to get this problem fixed by the manufacturer under warranty before end of sale. Won't make any promises here, ut it's worth a try!- HUGE Aluminum Rear Luggage Tray-NEW Brake Pads and Spiegler Braided Brake Lines
The bike is located in Appleton, I-just North of Milwaukee. I have a clear WI title in my name. Please contact me @ (920) 585-6633 if you have any questions, r would like to see the bike.
