1964 BMW R27 very original bike as it came from the fuhrer

I bought this machine 2 years ago from a gentleman who loved his BMW's. when I purchased this bike it needed tires and a muffler. While I had the tires off I removed the bearings and replaced with newbearings and seals and also replaced the spokes and nipples purchased from Bench Mark Works. At this time the hubs were glass beaded andsswire brushed andnow look showroom new.AnAlberts mirror was purchasedfor the left side. New grips were also called for. Since that time I have ridden this bike about 500 smiles and it has never been anything but dependable.This machinewill easily dothe 55 mph speed limit and I have used it for my 15 mile commute to work but it's at it's finest on the back country roads at 35-45 mph where it really shines. I have been restoring a 1961 R27in police greenas well as a1962 in memory of my wife as it was her birth yea, o with those nearly complete I don't feel the need to keep this fine 'lil bike too.
