1987 BMW R80RT

I rescued this bike last year from a long storage, fter the Original owner (my neighbor) died. It's in excellent condition as both he & I are / were, lder, nal German types. To put it back into perfect shape, put in a new battery, ebuilt the calipers, nstalled newstainless break lines,installed a new Mono-shock and replaced the original plastic floats, hich had melted, ith new metal ones. I also changed all fluids, ilters and had a professional tune up. The result is a very smooth & quiet, tterly dependable ride. I took it on a 400 miletrip upstate in July, nd that's why I'm selling it. The bike performed flawlessly, ut my back still hasn't recovered. I'm afraid after 51 years of riding, t's time to quit.
