Description

US AND CANADIAN BIDDERS PLEASE NOTE;BECAUSE OF SIMPLIFIED CUSTOMS-REQUIREMENTS NO LONGER AN OFFICIALPASSPORT IS NEEDED FOR SHIPPING.BECAUSE OF THIS A VALID-CORRECT ID.-CARD OF DRIVERS-LICENCE ISACCEPTED AGAIN BY AUTHORITIES IN ORDER TO IDENTIFY THE RECIPIENT.The Dnepr is made in the former USSR by the Kyivsk Motosykletnyi Zavod factory. Made in a number of variations, he whole range was based on the 2nd Worldwar BMW military cross-country machines, hough little remains interchangeable with those today. A very strongly-built, haft-drive, lat-twin with interchangeable wheels. While of little appeal to 'race-replica' fans, he Dnepr has a devoted following and a history of appearances in films such as the Indiana Jones series and by military re-enactment groups.

This motorcycle has recently been imported from Russia where it has spent its entire life. As far as I can judge it hasn't been used for a longer period of time, hough it starts at first kick and is running and riding ok. I was told that this military Dnepr side-valve version with the rare two-in-one exhaust-sytem has been designed for official parades and escorts, here the idea was that it had to be used on the rh side of the vehicle it escorted, s in that case the exhaust fumes and noise stayed away as much as possible from this escorted vehicle.

The odometer reads 7798 km / 4855 mile, hich recording I expect to be correct, nly have no history to back this up. This motorcycle is after almost half a century still in a fair and useable condition, nly the paint and chrome are wheatered and not nice, ome surface-rust and dings are visible on places, ut then basically this is not something really disturbing because of the age and character of a machine like this.

The frame has factory-welded attachments for a sidecar and also a connection for the sidecar-lights is already in place. The original frame-id. plate is still on and both the frame- & enginenumbers are matching with the ones on this plate.

Another thing that's nice to know is the fact that ALL parts for this motorcycle can be bought online against very decent prices, ither in used, os or after-market quality and have no problem to share the details of a couple very professional Dnepr parts-specialists (who both have a trick-website) whenever required.

This motorcycle comes with an official European Certificate of Origin which document will be issued in your name and states the make, odel, ear of manufacture, isplacement, eight etc, lus an official bill of sale from my company here in Belgium. Furthermore I’ll make sure that all the correct export-paperwork will be in place before the bike leaves from here, hich documents will make the process of importing it into the US an easy ride.

-On this listing I’moffering a special (fully sealed) motorcycle crate, areful packing and physical shipping from here in Belgium to a US CFS as close as possible to you at my expense,meaning that I will pay for having the bike crated and all handling etc. plus the ocean-freight charge, here you are responsible for all charges at your (US) end, ike entry fees, ort, andling and eventually broker fees etc.If you want any additional information about this, lease ask before you place a bid.
Furthermore, hen you want to receive some better photo's of the bike/shipping, r want to recieve more information about this item, ust let me know.
I accept PayPal payments.-Additional information to this listing;
I only offer shipping by sea, here of course we can advise you on forehand about the process of importing the machine into your country. Like can be read in the link,this antique bikeis because of its age exempt from US import-duty and EPA regulations;https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/278/~/importing-classic-or-antique-vehicles-%2F-cars-for-personal-use

The crate will safely sail in a sealed container and the shipment is fullyinsured for eventual damage/loss.
