You are bidding on a 1984 BMW R100 RS. 49. 00 miles. Starts and runs very well. Rides nice. No issues. Doesn’t need anything. Registered and insured. Can be test-driven. Clutch and transmission work smoothly. Transmission spline lubed last year. New Metzler Marathon tires. New Emgo mufflers. Recent front brake pads. Paint is not perfect but it’s not bad. The previous owner repainted it a non-stock color but arguably it looks better than the drab gray BMW used that year. Mirrors are not stock. The stock ones were worthless unless you enjoy looking at your shoulders when you are riding. I still have the original mirrors if you want them. One mirror was broken. It has the frames for the side cases (Panniers?) but the cases were missing when I purchased it and I never found a used set that looked like they were worth buying. It’s fitted with a Corbin touring seat with backrest. It’s nice for 2 up riding. Your companion will appreciate the backrest. I don’t have the original seat. I have seen plenty of used stock seats on the auction. You could probably sell the Corbin for more than a used stock seat would cost if you wanted to change it back. I installed a riser and a higher handlebar for a more comfortable riding position. The factory handlebar is here and included with the motorcycle along with a few other miscellaneous parts. It got a new maintenance free battery last spring. I’m not using it that much any more so I decided to sell. It’s getting popular to turn these into naked bikes or café bikes lately. or it’s cool as is. Local pickup only. Buyer is responsible for any and all shipping arrangements and costs. I have this motorcycle advertised locally and reserve the right to end the auction at any time if the reserve price has not been met. I will do my best to accommodate someone wishing to stop by for a test ride. Send me an email.
