1925 BSA Roundtank, 249 cc tank shifter

Up for auction is a 1925 BSA Roundtank 249cc. I bought the BSA in 2012 to prepare for the 2014 Cannonball thatI never entered.

The bike is a '25 frame, ngine & tank with '27 wheels, rakes & three speed trans.The bike looks period correct with standard hand controls, oot rear brake, nd three speed tank shift. The bike was repainted many years ago, till looks good. see photos for paint condition. The bike runs and handles well for a 90 year old bike

The crank & bearings were previsouly rebuilt. I installed a new 3 ring piston, ew valves, ent the Lucas magneto toEngland for rebuild. Replaced the leather clutch disc with friction material, ew clutch springs. I replaced the origional AMAC carb with a AMAL carb from the 30's. The bike runs much smoother. (origional AMAC carb included in sale)

I added a Lucas gas headlight that I converted to a 12v LED bulb, aillight &brake light is a glass lens light also 12v LED.both light are powered by a sealed battery in the tool box. There is no charging system. The bike came from the factory with no lighting. Milage unknown, o speedometer.

Steering head bearings, heel bearings, rakes all cleaned & checked. new Heidenau K35 tires, ew tubes. Transmission oil changed. Total loss oil system Fun bike to ride, 0MPH cruise.

New York transferable registration. (no titles in NY before 1973) Registered as a 1925 by engine number.
