1968 BSA Lightning 650cc Matching Numbers RUNNING Project...Nice in CT

1968 BSA Lightning. Bike has matching Numbers on frame and motor. bill of sale OnlyCT doesn't issue titles on MV older than 1981 so I don't need a title for Me to register but you May. so please do your homework first. OK where to start. I got this bike three weeks ago with the intentions of restoring. ell things change. a bought a old harley that I'm more interested in so BSA goes. Since I bought it about the only thing I did is cleaned the oil sump out. ut gas in it and started it up. Started right up. I have Not drove it. t's been Brutal in CT the last couple of weeks COLD and SNOWYThe good stuff is it's a Running Numbers match. as Tank. rame. orks. otor . xhaust. eadlight. ail light. ct are in Good Condition. no broken fins. seat looks Original and is leather. key works. Bike needs work ( wiring. ables for "tach" and "speedo"tightening nuts and bolts. attery. ect. kickstart works but stays down while running?. and others. See pics). I believe the rear rim is Harley. amp meter is gone. front fender is there and in Great condition but it had been cut. Has Brand New Tach and Speedo. and comes with the Original Speedometer as well. comes with parts Shown. This is a Great start to a very Classic Desirable Bike. and there are not getting any easier to find. Bike is listed for sale Locally. so I reserve the right to end auction at any time.
