Original 1971 BSA Thunderbolt 650cc 650 Unit Twin - Running Project Bike - CleanThis bike is in awesome original shape. Paint is completely original with some flaws. but it just adds character. Bike was sitting for many years before the gentleman I bought it from got it running. Odometer shows 7. 91 miles. which I believe is original. Bike runs and rides. Transmission shifts excellently and brakes are working properly. Motor appears to have been built earlier than the frame. I am not sure if it has been changed. but the bike is so original that I don't know why they would. Bike has been dropped. so the left side does have some damage in the headlight ring. the left side of the handlebars is bent. and the left side footrest is bent. I have the air filters. but they are not in the air boxes. Will need the boot for the carburetor. I have the left side fuel line. but was only running the right to get it running. etc as the tank was off when I bought it. Lights will need to be hooked up as they are currently inoperable. I believe the tires are original. but are dry rotted and need replacement. Overall this bike is a great simple project that most of the hard stuff is done. Great first bike or to add to a collection.
