1966 BSA A65 Lightning Frame no. PC15317 A65T Engine no. A65L4552 On offer is this great riding flagship of the BSA range. the A65 Lightning. A marriage of a 1966 Lightning twin-carb engine mounted in an A65 frame of November. 1968 vintage. the bike is in good solid condition. It was owned for many years by a now elderly gentleman. The engine starts and runs well. though a little cold blooded. It has good power through Amal concentric carbs. The bike shifts well through the gears and has a good clutch. Brakes and suspension are very good. Cosmetically. the bike is OK. Paint is OK on the tank with no major dents and looks to be original. There are some scratches in the paint on the side panels. The frame is straight. making this an ideal candidate for a cosmetic restoration. or just ride it as is and enjoy!
