1952 Cushman Eagle Springer Scooter

I bought this scooter in April 2013. I purchased it freshly built. by R. Simpson of Scottsdale. Arizona whose hobby is building Cushman Scooters. I can put you in touch with him if you are interested. Since then. it is been stored in my garage under cover. It has never been washed or been in the rain. If you want a custom scooter. this is the one to own. What ever is not chrome is painted with either automotive base coat. clear coat or powder coated. I’m 72 years old with recent health issues that force me to part with this killer Scoot. My health issues prohibit me from kick starting this scooter. but I guarantee it runs great and will have my son start it for serious buyer. The scooter has fewer than 5 miles of travel since being built. It also comes with a Dennis Carpenter flannel lined cover. Additionally. see my 1947 step thru. also for sale. This is a custom built scooter. not a stock original. Details1952 Cushman Eagle Springer motor scooter. pristine built in 2013. New parts added in 2014 include; correct pullies. and belt. (replacing chain drive) and (increases the speed). new clutch was installed. chrome engine cover. and many other additional small chrome parts. A brand new gas tank was installed at a cost of $300. 00 as the builder had epoxied the old tank to try to save it and it leaked. Tires still have nubbies! Frame. fork. and many other parts are powdercoated gloss black. The fenders and tank are painted automotive base coat clear and were professionally pinstriped by one of the best. This Cushman Eagle has a 7. 3 horsepower M8 motor bored . 060 over with new piston. rings. rod bearings. gaskets. seals. valve job. and a new Mikuni carburetor. This Cushman sports new Coker Cushman WW tires and tubes. new chrome seat springs. fork springs. dual exhaust. tank band. fender brackets. and HD style tombstone taillight. The original handlebars have been replaced with 1” risers and are freshly chromed. It runs and drives great. It is a little hard to start because of being bored out. so I also added a compression release. I have a clear Nebraska title in my name and will also provide a bill of sale.
