This Motorcycle was custom ordered by actor Lawrence Fishburne in 1999 from the California Motorcycle Company (CMC). TheCMC Motorcycle Company was endorsedby Peter Fonda.
This Captain America bike is #108 of a 110motorcycles producedin the production series andhas a very rare 1,340 CC engine.
The bike made an appearancein the movie BIKER BOYZ withLawrence Fishburne. He actedin the movieas the lead character, moke. The sport bike that Fishburne rode in the moviewas acquired by theBarber Motorcycle Museum in Alabama. A screen shotshowing the Captain Americabike in the movie is attached.
Fishburne eventually donated this bike to the Dr. Martin Luther King foundation and it was later auctioned to raise funds for the MLK memorial in Washington DC. Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck also donated their motorcycles at the same time for the memorial.
It comes with all documentation of Lawrence Fishburne's ownership including the initial registration, icense plates and a key tag used in the BIKER BOYZ movie.
Included with the bike is an autographed helmet by Peter Fonda andautographed pictures ofPeter Fonda, ennis Hopper and Jack Nicholson.Numerous autographs are also included fromthe cast members of BIKER BOYZ.
The original Easy Rider bikes made for the 1969 movie were 1949, 950 and 1952 Harley Davidson Hydra-Glidesthat were purchase at an auction for $500, quivalent to about $3,400 in 2015. The one and only surviving Captain America bike was sold in 2014 for $1.6 million, ncluding auction fees.
This motorcycle has only 918 miles andhas wonBest of Class/First Place in numerous bike shows.It draws a huge crowd in any public event. I have many more pictures that I can emailupon request.
