AFT Customs Honda CB750 "Cimeron"
Custom street fighter, inner 2014 L.A. Calendar Show Pro Builder Class
Based on a 1976 Honda CB750 Four, Cimeron" isyet another metric masterpiece from the award-winning AFT Customs shop inJackson, alifornia. Recipient of numerous show awards, ncluding the Pro Builder class trophy at the prestigious L.A. Calendar Show in 2014, he bike is titled and street-legal in California, nd was built to ride, ogging fivepasses on the 1.5-mile runway at the last Mojave Magnum speed trials, ll between 122-126 mphwith street gearing.
Providing that kind of go-power is a fully rebuilt engine running Wiseco big-bore pistons for a displacement of 836cc. Other speed goodies include a Web Cam camshaft, ynatek electronic ignition, PE cam chain tensioner and Barnett clutch with AFT hydraulic actuation. The pumped-up motor inhales through twin Keihin FCR35 flatslide carbs, hile spent exhaust gases make their way through ceramic-coated 4-into-1 sidewinder headers and a shorty Leo Vince muffler.Carbon-fiber covers by Kraus Motor Co. are the engine's finishing touch. It was dyno'd at 85 hp, nd though it's kick start only, hop owner Jim Guiffra reports that his AFT showgirls (who helped build the bike) caneasily bringthe motor to life first kick.
Equally as trick as the engine is Cimeron's running gear. The front of the frame has been reworked heavily, ith the enlarged downtube now serving as oil tank.Suspension was thoroughly updated with inverted forks from a Yamaha YZF-R1, hile out back a single Race Tech shock works through acustom trellis-style swingarm. Modern Beringer brakes, otably a six-piston caliper up front, means that Cimeron "whoa's" as good as it goes. The fuel tank started life as a stock CB750 item but now has dished knee cut-outs and functional carbon-fiber scoops that duct air to the engine's top end. All other bodywork is hand-pounded aluminum.
With less than 500 miles logged, imeron remains inshow-worthy condition, rthis most unique of CB750 customs is ready for the road.Included in the sale are a build book, osters &magazine articleon the bike. Cimeron will alsobe featured in the Fast Dates 2016 "Iron & Lace" calendar.
Note to overseas buyers: Cimeron is located close to Sacramento shipping centers.
