Description

1964 Ducati 250 Diana MARK 3 NO RESERVE AUCTION!!!Up for sale is my rare Mark 3 Ducati 250cc. . was built for road racing about 10 years ago. road a few times and put away in dry storage ever since. I put new gas in it this week and did not touch carb yet. but it did fire and have good compression. It is not running at this time. but I would suggest a good carb clean and tuning and this bike will be back running and riding again. has solid compression from a rebuild 10 years ago. Not running. nbsp;don't have time to work on it. Engine VIN: DM250M3-97978 (Mark 3)The Ducati has the period correct tank and frame for Mach 3. The tank has the indentions under tank for the carb to fit under it. The carb is a 32mm AMAL with a nice Velocity stack. Was told the frame is 1964 as it does not have tabs for the toolboxes under each side of the seat. The Mark 3 motor was completely rebuilt with new seals. bearings. piston. rod. and rings. plus gaskets. etc etc. Polished and cleaned for show quality!I will list a lot of upgrades and brands of the items that were placed on this bike. There has been a lot of money and time dumped into this bike and it is worth every penny:NEW to bike:Clip-ons and forged lever controls by MAGURA from GERMANY. VEGLIA Tach and Tach DriveTires and Akront Rims laced into new Grimeca front brake hub and original hub and brake on rear. All paint was professionally done as well as decals are clear coated. etc. Custom built Racer Seat. very nice. New front GRIMECA 2LS Drum and Brake setup. rare and expensive. MACH 1 Rear Sets for feet as well as the brake and control levers are Mach 1 that screw into the frame and fold up. Orignal style rear shocks as well. Front cowl for racing. hand built custom unit. Velocity Stack on AMAL Carb. "West Coast British" built the motor with a Carillo Rod and Venolia Piston and rings. which is a ton of money just for that. Motor was sent in. detailed and built buy them for racing. The motor is very clean as you can see in pictures. Bike has the correct Brevetti Silentium muffler as well. This bike would make a great racer for the vintage guy wanting to race. or a great museum piece. I am selling to the highest bidder worldwide. Paypal. cashiers check from bank or cash is accepted. A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction ending. You will not be disappointed in this 1964 Ducati Mark 3 Diana 250. It is one phenomenal piece of machine and very rare. as Ducati's in general are hard to find. especially in this shape. The paint work on this bike is 2nd to none. outside of the one nick in the silver on left side of tank. Again this bike has been stored in dry storage and is not being sold running. but shouldn't take much at all to get it running. Thanks and God bless. have a good day. I AM SURE I HAVE MISSED SOMETHING ABOUT THE BIKE. PLEASE ASK AND I WILL ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS. :)
