Ducati Paul Smart 1000LE - Mint Condition

After a long and arduous search. this gorgeous and very. very clean motorcycle was purchased two years ago from an avid Ducati collector in Arizona where it was stored in a museum setting with climate control and ridden with care and respect. I store in my So Cal garage and wax it every time it's ridden which is 1x per month just to keep us both happy. Bike is as clean as they get with some miles. not a scratch and. of course. never dropped. The only flaw that I can see are a little melted rubber deposit on the exhuast near the rearset from my street shoe heel. and a rock chip on the headlamp glass (which I will replace). The fuel tank has been replaced on warranty by the dealer and coated against ethanol penetration by JC PAKbikes using the only correct method of internal surface prep for a coating that should never fail and is warrantied for life. All my motorized toys are run on non-ethanol racing fuel even though unleaded is fine with the coating now. Bike was tuned to perfection by the dealer using a Power Commander III. Recent 7500 mile service in 9/2014 – valves adjusted (none needed). new cam belts. motul 300V. etc. with 5400 miles on bike. For those of you that have never had the great pleasure of riding a refined. roaring. air-cooled ducati twin with full Ohlins suspension. modern braking and handling coupled with classic Supersport styling. the Paul Smart is pure and rebelious joy on steroids. Nothing on the market even comes close as far as collectibility. performance and styling in one package. At the age of 50. I’m sadly selling all my widowmakers and focusing on classic iron and upright DS/Adventure riding from here on in.
