You can Google the bike (I did) but in a nutshell...this is the 1098 version of this bike no longer in production. Ducati smashed the 1098's cylinders and heads with an 1198's crankcase. Brilliant ridiculous and truly hooligan. 155Bhp at the rear wheel makes this the most powerful naked bike Ducati ever made. Sadly they stopped production of this iconic 1098 model in 2012. The fueling on this bike is silly good. The brakes will make you cry. The suspension is godlike. There is absolutely no real logical reason why you'd want to own this motorcycle and that's why you gotta have it. It's stupid awe-inspiring terrifyingly fun motorcycle that wants to play hard.
Best motorcycle I've ever owned period. Go get ice cream on this bike and watch the jaws drop. Your friends are all about to hate you. It happens. I'm sorry to sound cliche but if you're looking at this bike you already know what you want.
Particulars...

• Adult owned adult ridden. Garage kept and covered always on a battery tender. Bike came wired for a radar detector by PO. The bike is a bit dusty from sitting. Once I decided to sell I tucked her in the corner and covered her up. This is a very nicely maintained and garaged low-mileage Streetfighter.

Good question. Make no mistake this is my dream bike. When this bike came out in '09 I had a heart attack and I knew I had to have one.

However this summer I'm doing a cross country trip in support of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America. This bike sale will fund my trip - 100% of the donations I'm collecting will go to veterans. I need to pay for my gas and hotels. This is a really really amazing motorcycle and I'm very sorry to give her up but my cross country ride in honor of veterans is more important.
