I bought this when I returned from Iraq in 2011 and I haven't had much time to ride. I grew up in an area where curves where everywhere and this would have been a perfect bike but I now live in an area where you have to seek out the twisties. Add that with the fact that I don't have much time to ride and you can see why this bike needs a new home.
This is pickup only but if you want to arrange for shipping I can ride it to the shipper of your choice in Raleigh.
It has been garage kept and I have a motorcycle cover that will go with it. I replaced the stock mirrors because I couldn't see very good out of them. I still have those and the rear seat cover. Also if you've done any research on these Ducatis they had some tank issues. The ethanol in American gas caused them to expand and leak. Mine had the tank replaced by a Ducati dealer (no longer in business) in 2014. I was told that the new tanks would not have the same issue but I did buy some gas treatment that I've been using as well.
The first service was completed by Barnett's Ducati in Raleigh. I just had the bike inspected and a diagnostic/service performed at Barnett's and all is good to go.
It's a great running motorcycle with lots of torque. It is solid black with the carbon fiber kit. It has never been wrecked laid down or dropped. The only issue is a minor cosmetic issue with one of the reservoirs on the handlebars. It is the left one and the paint has started to peel off of it. I included a picture.
Any questions please ask!
