For sale, ne beautiful, ead-turning, ir-cooled, uel-injected Italian motorcycle. Nothing sounds, andles or makes the hairs on your neck stand up like a Ducati desmodromic V twin. 14,992 miles, ith the last valve job done the summer before last at 13,000. This thing is ready to go across the country today. Owned by a mild-mannered college professor who polished and maintained it more than he rode it -- the brand new tires have chicken strips a mile wide as proof. This bike is super reliable and starts in the spring on the first try. It has been an absolute pleasure to own but I'm just too busy to use it right now.
This is the highly desirable half-fairing model in bright Borgo Panigale red. It is in excellent condition with a few tiny cosmetic blemishes. Ask for more pictures and I'll get them to you. It's never been laid down, ever spent a night outside and has received only the best mechanical attention that I could afford it, ith regular full synthetic oil changes at every 2,500 miles. I've got plenty of records and receipts too.
Some of the highlights:
-aftermarket Sargent saddle with under-saddle storage (I've got the original too and it is in mint condition). This saddle has less than 1,500 miles of use and is in like new condition. It makes the bike so, o comfortable.
-Chain and sprockets changed last fall -- I used CA cycleworks sprockets and went up a tooth in the rear making this bike super-friendly to ride around town or to wick up in the twisties.
-Ducati Performance titanium exhaust, hip and open airbox with K&N filter. This boosts this puppy to 80hp and 80 pounds of torque. I've got the original exhaust chip and cans that come with the bike too.
-Beautiful Cyclecat clip-ons, hich are infinitely adjustable and make this bike all-day comfortable.
-Pirelli tires with fewer than 500 miles, nstalled and balanced at Ducati Minneapolis last August.
-120 decibel ear cannon horn with relay -- tell the soccermom with a cage full of rug rats to get off her phone properly.
-Battery is new as of June 2014.
-I've got the factory and Clymer manuals, ome specialized Ducati tools and a track stand that all come as part of the deal.
The starting bid price is my drop-dead price. I think it is a hell of a good deal for this model in this condition. I am located 60 miles NW of Minneapolis and I also have this bike for sale locally, o if it sells I'll call off the auction. No overseas buyers or crazy cashier check scammers - if you want the bike you need to live in the US or Canada.
