2005 DUCATI 999R

Clean, EM, nadulterated 2005 Ducati 999R. An iconic Ducati unlike any other with more WSBK championships than any other model. Original owner. This was one of the first 2005 'R' bikes delivered to the U.S. In 2005 this bike came with all carbon fiber body except the tail. Full Termignoni exhaust system and Ohlins suspension front and rear were also standard equipment. I have added Acculign rearsets, ower Commander fuel mapping, erracci gas cap, nd CRG levers.
A few track days early in it's life but mostly street miles since 2006. After a leak down inspection near the 6000 mile mark, had the pistons and rings replaced and the cylinders nikasil replated. Work was done by one of the highest ranked U.S. Ducati Technicians. The work order is available for inspection. Recent Ohlins service front and rear. All routine maintenance done by the same tech at the same dealership where I purchased the bike. The bike makes 150rwhp.
Early on the bike was dropped at slow speed on the left side suffering minor damage to the left panel and upper fairing. Repaired and painted by Portland's finest exotic auto body shop. Only on very close inspection are any flaws noticed. Let me be very clear, his bike is a work of art.
As much as this bike is a head turner and has the ultimate twin sound, I no longer enjoy riding sport bikes on the street and I'm not a collector so maybe there's a better home for this beauty. This bike is mechanically perfect with a recent Motul 300V oil and filter change. Feel free to arrange an inspection by a third party or call me at 360-921-7055 with your questions. I have a second set of OEM body work that I picked up in 2005 from a racer. It's a full set except for the 'left air deflector' (that's the leading edge piece on each side fairing). This set retails for over $12,000 and is available on 'sellers other listings'. I've kept these as part of my insurance plan for this bike and will no longer need them.
