1983 Harley Davidson FXSB-80 Shovelhead. This is a numbers matching bike and is a nice little Rat Rod Bobber. This is a true No Reserve Auction on this Bike! This is a great opportunity for you to pick up a nice correct base model for a build or ride it as it is and as it has been ridden for the last number of years. Engine has had a recent top end and runs good. It is currently a kick only bike but has everything there and functioning to get the electric start working. I believe the problem is in the button original owner said all working properly then he changed the handlebars and it stopped working and he always kicked it anyway so never addressed it. from the looks of it I am guessing a pinched housing wire or button issue. The bike shifts better at low rpm's like a lot of cowpie transmissions do but does go into all gears and ride's just fine- the engine is in fantastic shape. a recent top end has been done not many miles ago and just had a Dyna S ignition installed and is running a S&S E Carburetor and good sounding exhaust that is a nice performance exhaust (exhaust is a little ratty has a few marks on it as you can see but good exhaust). Bike also has a nice set of Stainless Steel Front Street Cycle handlebars as well as a nice quilted pattern vintage old school king & queen seat on it and peanut tank on it. The frame lower tank mount was cut to allow peanut to work and sit down on the frame but that is the only tab cut on the frame that I can see. this is the stock original frame with correct numbers. also has nice OEM AMF 9-spoke wheels front and back. Please examine all the pictures I included for the exact cosmetic condition. I included ever angle for you and as you can see is in the rat bobber vibe and scratch's and patina are part of of look. This is a great chance to get on a Big twin for cheap and especially good for builder looking to start with an inexpensive correct number base for a build.
