1998 Harley-Davidson Touring Road King Used

Hop in the hot tub time machine and take a look at this 1998 Harley Davidson Road King because you've just found nostalgia in modern times!

So here's the story. I took this bike in on trade from acustomer who's father had passed away and he couldn't bring himself to part with it until recently.He had it stored in his barn where it was partiallyexposed to the elements, ainly sunlight, ence the fading which I noted in the pictures. Besidesa little faded paint,some of the chrome is bubbling and a peeling which I also noted in the pictures along with the dent in the right side of the tank.

NOW TO THE GOOD STUFF! The only issues with the bike are completely cosmetic. I've had my shop go through the bike completely which means it's been completely checked from top to bottom with all the fluids changed. We've bled the brakes, hecked the electronics and they all work great. The bike runs extremely well and very strong. The enginedoesn't smoke, pit or sputter when running. I took the bike for a ride and it'll run 80 on the interstate all day.

In closing the bike isn't perfectcosmetically and could usesome TLC but the bike is also 17yrs old so insteadjust think of the blemishes as character or nostalgia. Another plus is this is the last year of the EVO motor, hich many HD faithful consider the best motor Harley ever produced.

Great bikefor the biker on a budget or a true HD enthusiast who knows whatthis bike is and can give it the TLC it deserves. Also if someone utilizes the BUY IT NOW option I'll throw in the fiberglass bags for free (they need TLC as well.)
