1972 Harley Davidson FLH

This 1972 Harley Davidson FLH was purchased in 1995 from a local Milwaukee WI. dealer who had just taken it in from the original owner. This is a nice original bike with upgrades by the original owner to newer handle bars and a fish tail exhaust.1972 is the first year of the front disk brake. This motorcycle has always been garaged and pampered. It is ready for show or go and even both! Check the pictures carefully. Check out the stereo and speakers! This is a great starter bike for the beginning collector or investor.

Mileage: The odometer was inoperative when this bike was acquired by the current owner. It had clocked 22,000 miles. The new odometer reads 5,063

Paint: The paint on the tanks and frame are original. The color is the rare “Sparkling Cooper” Front and rear fenders are repaint with an excellent color match. Some minor scratches evident as detailed in the photos.

Sheet metal: Sheet metal is all original and an excellent fit. Minimal dings or dents if any.

Chrome: Lots of original chrome that has been well protected and shines right up.

Tires and Rims: Tires are Harley Davidson Dunlap radials. Original Spoke wheels in good condition.

Mechanical: Runs and shifts nicely, here is an S&S carb behind the original air cleaner. The motorcycle has not been ridden much over the last few years and would appreciate a good cleaning and maintenance servicing including the front brake.
