If you look at other XR's on ebay and such most have higher mileage and some have been chopped up. Some are bone stock asking the same money as I am. You are getting thousands in real world usable aftermarket or Harley accessories that make this both collectible and rideable. The seat options are great. the Corbin rear panel gives you storage. you can take a passenger and then head to the bike show with the same bike. The tires are dual compound not stockers. My insurance went up with this bike being considered a "sport bike". The CC size and fact it is a larger Sportster didn't help. So. I'm selling my nice sport tour. This bike really rocks. It has a cam in it and it sounds mean when idling and even meaner when running down the road. It's quieter than my 883 Iron 2013 with aftermarket CycleShack pipes. Even though it's quieter it really sounds like a racing machine when you run it through the gears. And YES. it does have the Race Tuner in it and I will give you the stock tuner. I'm 54 years old. This is not a chopped bike. a well cared for machine that is a looker on the road and in a bike show. Turns heads and always makes people wait to hear it start up. Just idling it draws attention due to the sound. the cam and the fact it is a Harley sport bike that rocks. I wanted to collect original stuff for this bike because I believe in ten or twenty years it will be even more of a collector's item with original pipes vs the V&H even though the pipes that are installed are amazing and look great. The header pipes on the V&H always pit and rust so I purchased their heat wrap tape and took great care in installing this product. It looks great. insulates your leg from getting burned and hides the rust and pitting that is typical. The headers were not in bad shape but just didn't look nice. I do have the V&H spray silicone in black I'll give you for the wrap that will also go on the short header pipe too if you want it. 1000 mile dealer service3000 mile dealer inspection. replacement of shifter seal and front wheel bearings. gone over while installing new front tire and rear tire. The original tires developed a crack due to age is all I could figure and the rear tire was low enough with that sticky rubber tire compound that I put a good touring tireon that has dual compound that will wear more evenly. The center should not wear out before the side does. My history with this bike. I purchased this bike in June of 2014 with 1050 miles on it from a local Harley-Davidson dealer. I put 2. 74 miles on this bike over the summer and then installed a new Harley battery. Two new Dunlop dual compound tires were installed within the last couple of months at about 3000 miles on the bike. At the same time I had the dealer install new front wheel bearings as the dealer said we should install due to age with the rubber side of the bearing leaking grease but the bearings themselves were perfect. This same dealer did the 1000 mile service in June of this year when they took it in on trade. I owe money on the bike but will pay it off at my local credit union and hand you the title prior to finalizing the sale. Your deposit will secure the bike.
