PLEASE - do not bid if you have no intention on paying. Now onto the listing:
NO RESERVE!!
Engine, rame and title numbers all match.
A great running shovelhead bagger - best of both worlds. The great shovelhead sound with the ability to carry some stuff along for a good long cruise. Nice Mustang seat is very comfortable. You def sit on this bike more than it it and float around in comfort. Frame is based on the FXR style and is the precursor to today's Road Kings.
The front end was swapped out for a later model FLH front end in order to get rid of the square gauge cluster and batwing ( i did not do the conversion and i do not have the removed parts). The tanks are HD but not originals as they were swapped when the front end was done. I do have the front fender however someone dropped something on it and its now severely dented. I do have another fender that is included and fits, ut it needs to be painted to match. The odometer is now electronic and functions and has 3700 miles or so since the conversion was done.
Everything on the bike works. All the wiring is done internally through the bars for a nice clean look. Horn, urn signals, pot lights, i and low beam, harging system, tc all in working order. Brakes work well. Bike starts with a simple lift of the choke lever on the rebuilt Super E carb and idles great. Once its started you don't need to use the choke again. No crazy noises, ust a nice balanced ride.
The beach bars are pretty wide and make handling easy. Keep in mind this isn't a sportster or a dyna so steering is not a point and shoot type. Once you get the feel for it its just as much fun. The bike has a 5 speed rubber mounted transmission which really keeps the bike running smooth and at low rpms. No gas leaks, o oil leaks, nbsp;
There are nicks and dings and the exhaust has some rust spots as seen in the pics. The bags work well and are in good shape with working locks (have the keys). Title is clear and bike is currently insured as I have been riding it.
Call the keyboard shipping company for a quote - generally about 750$ from my zipcode of 01867 to California, ess if closer. Will help in local delivery for agreed upon price.
Feel free to call with any questions - email me for my phone number. Happy to answer them. I also have a stock 4 speed transmission if you are looking to build a bobber.
