1929 Harley Davidson Model B
This 1929 Model B mostly original with some parts missing.
I bought this bike apart (barn find) but did a quick assembly to see what was there & condition.
It was in a barn across the road from the original owners place, o idea why it was taken apart.
I believe the paint on the tanks is original burgundy/red color.
Appears to be original black paint on the rims which look straight with no broken spokes.
The cams, il pump & piston, peedo cable, ead lights, ardware and varius small parts & pieces are missing.
The frame has one welding repair where backbone meets the neck (braised).
Muffler is rusty & patched with one chamber missing.
What is in the pictures is what you get.
The springer rockers, ardware & springs are from a newer bike (I just used them so I could assemble it).
Motor turns over easily and rod has not much up & down.
Trans turns over easily and shows some but not bad wear.
Clutch looks good with little wear.
Only one fin on the head has a small chip out of it, ll other fins are good.
There are no cracks, ad threads or major damage or repairs in the motor & trans that I could see.
All the threads look good.
Belly Numbers match.
A couple of small soldered repairs to the inside of the tanks.
The generator is seized and rusty inside (might be able to be rebuilt).
