If you are taking the time to read this then you know this bike has many unique features. Honda chromed just about everything they could think of on these bikes including the radiator surround. rille. etcock. rackets and many fasteners that don't even show. The chrome is also much higher quality than that found on stock bikes. In addition to the extra chrome the wheels and spokes are gold anodized. he quilt pattern seat has a step in it and there are special emblems on the side covers. The owner's manual is gold stamped leather bound and the tools are chrome plated in a leather roll. It even has a retractable leather key fob. This particular bike was purchased new at one of New England's oldest dealerships. ifford Honda. irca 1960. It has only had two adult owners. oth of whom I have spoken to concerning the details of this bike. It was always dealer serviced and properly cared for. It had been sitting for some time when it came to me. All the maintenance operations have been performed as well as any necessary repairs. These include extensive carburator cleaning. djustment and sync. ew fuel lines. uel pump. rake system service with master cylinder rebuilding. tarter and battery replacement. ew tires mounted and balanced. omplete tune up. ork seals. askets. eals and many misc. items that needed attention. Many hours of cleaning. olishing and detailing have been spent to bring out the beauty of this original paint bike. There are two period correct options on the bike-a short backrest/seat rail combo and an engine guard. There is absolutely no corrosion in or on this bike and that includes the gas tank which is spotless. The bike starts up quickly and settles down to a nice idle once warm. There are no unusual noises. eaks or smoke. It rides. andles and brakes as I remember them when when they were new. It is extremely smooth and tractable. This motorcycle was restored by 3 enthusiasts each of whom has been riding and working on bikes for over 40 years. I am a retired contractor who enjoys finding. estoring and passing these bikes on to good homes. It is investment quality and our hope is that it will go to a museum or private collection where it can be preserved.
