Description

Greetings:This neat custom was worked on by MISSIONmoto. org. We are a WA State nonprofit 501c3 motorcycle ministry that works on donated bikes/scooters to raise funds for missions and youth programs. Amen. We are part of Ebay giving works. We are an all-volunteer crew. Many thanks to all our vendors who donated services to this project. Areas of this build were done with At-risk Youth in the Seattle Youth Violence Prevention Initiative funded out of the Mayors office and administered through Seattle's Youth and Family Services. Eight to ten middle school youth came once a week for 10 weeks and helped with tear down. grinding. nbsp;polishing. drilling. assembly. and body work. and other tasks. As part of the program. the youth (only) were paid an hourly fee. a budget for snacks. plus given bus tickets to participate. Many tasks were way above their skill level. but they were exposed to all parts of the build process. Story and pictures on our website: "MISSIONmoto. org" Click on Garage stories. Any profit above 1K gets paid out to missionaries at $500. 00/effort. Amen. We made a YouTube video on 4/8/15 of the bike running and showing items that need to be addressed by the new owner:http://youtu. be/vSdQOyR6PnQTach gauge needle sometimes bounces aroundThrottle and return cables need to be adjusted so the bike falls to idle consistentlyModify rear suspension for more clearance between back tire and taillight. Looks very. very cool as is; but don't risk hitting a big bump and ruining the taillight. Engine is weeping/leaking oil under #2 exhaust. Looks to be the head gasket but could be from the puck under the cam tower. Even with the above items. we know this bike is worth every penny of 5K. That's our minimum starting bid. We've got other frame off builds started and new donations arriving. so we cannot continue to work and invest in this bike. or continue to tie up a lift space. Now. if Mr. or Mrs. Moneybags reading this wants to drop a 10K donation to us and get a tax receipt. we'll keep going on it. Barring that. it needs to be sold and leave the shop. ShippingWe want the bike to leave ASAP. I am extremely flexible with pick ups. It is a residence. but the alley and side streets can accommodate any size truck. We've had the huge DailyDirect semi's roll in no problem. Let the transport agent and me know if you want the title and keys shipped with the bike or I can mail the title and key in a USPS pouch. after payment. if you add another $8. 50. Thanks. Happy Bidding. God Bless
