1978 Honda CB750K SOHC (Single Overhead Camshaft)Last year of the SOHC engine. I have owned this bike for around 10 years. It's a project that I started. and never found the time to finalize. It's been sitting in the back of my motorcycle shop since I bought it. and I've already put quite a bit of work into the cafe racer transformation. It still needs a seat and bum stop. the carbs need cleaning. and the clutch cover needs to come off to get the actuator working. I think it's turned backwards. I replaced the clutch plates. The bike was running when I bought it. and ran a while back. but I let it sit again. and the carbs gummed up. It has the cafe handlebars. with new Pro-Grip hand grips and aluminum bar end mirrors. The gauges are stock and original. The front master cylinder is original. and has no fluid. It needs rebuilt or replaced with a more modern one. I would recommend. The fuel tank is from an earlier year model. with hand hammered knee cutouts. and rubber knee pads attached; has a modern aircraft style fuel filler cap. The tires are new Avon Venoms. stock sizes. The side-mount taillight and tag bracket are new. modern reflector headlight is new. modern small profile LED turnsignals front and rear are new. New clutch cable. Rear frame modified; removed the loop and welded in a plate. The plate is where you would mount electrics and battery under the hump of a bum stop seat. Side covers are used. not original; originals were broken. The bike has been cheaply painted. as seen in the photos. The engine has pretty good compression. but I think it needs a valve adjustment. There is very little rust on this bike. and most of the chrome is in pretty good condition. It has been stored inside since I bought it 10+ years ago. The bike shows 15. 32 miles on the odometer. and I think that is actual and true. I bought this bike from a guy traveling through from Pennsylvania. and the clutch started to fail. I sold him a new bike. and bought this one from him. I own and operate a motorcycle shop. but this bike is one of my personal motorcycles. It is not being sold through my business. this is a private. individual sale. If you have any questions at all. don't hesitate to ask. This is a 35 year old machine that has been sitting for 10 years. so be aware what it is. It is not new. or turnkey. and there may be other things wrong with it that I don't know about. I have no title on this bike. and Georgia won't issue one. it's too old. You will get a bill of sale upon purchase. Take a good look. I think this would be a great bike if someone would finish it up. This bike is at my shop in Brunswick. Georgia. It can be see in person any time we are open. Tues-Fri 10a-5p. Sat 10a-2pCheck out my other items!
