Honnda Hawk GT NT650 1988

Nice Honda Hawk GT. New parts. brake pads. fork seals. sprockets. chain. fuel filter. tires. This bike runs awesome. plenty of power but very agile and great in turns. I bought this bike to fully restore. I was drawn to this bike initially because of the unique single sided swing arm and the sport bike stance without the back breaking position of the sport bikes out now. but liked it even more so after I started riding it. I am a Harley rider from a while back and when I ran across a Buell Cyclone months after purchasing this bike that I could not say no to. I cant keep both bikes. The Hawk needed the above mechanicals which is now done. It does need some cosmetic work. Paint is basically good. The plastic seat surround has a couple cracks. scratches and two broken mounting tabs but still fits securely. I have a new set of decals that were to go on after the new paint that I will include with the bike. The bike came with the Corbin seat as in most of the pictures. I bought an original seat to recover to bring it back to full stock. I will include both seats. The expensive work is done and can certainly be ridden as is with no concerns. The cosmetics are the only thing left to do. or not your choice. I have set the reserve where the value is not completely restored. The average asking price is for these is at or above $3000 I am way below that.
