You are viewing a restored Honda CT70. The main frame (CT70-246231) originally started life as a 1971 CT70 K0 3-speed. Somewhere along the line someone separated it from the other original parts before I came along and procured the frame. Wanting to build a bike to closely resemble Honda's 1979 CT70 model I sourced that model's front fork system. rear swing arm. shocks. handlebars. taillight. and an aftermarket seat. All colored parts are powder coated. The Honda color was nearly matched with an "Ape Yellow" powder coat. Bike's electrical power is generated by the commonly used 6 volt system of the era. You get many new OEM parts like the speedometer and metal fuel tank. Not being fond of "blinker bikes" I chose not to have them as part of the restoration. The engine. ahh the engine. yeah it's a sweet running and performing 72cc (XL70E-1202318) from Honda's SL/XL series bike. Engine was originally sourced and completely rebuilt by my good friend Darrel of Gunderson Restorations. It works perfectly for this application. As most of you probably know the handlebar controls for this model are next to impossible to source. I ordered and used/modified controls from Honda's new models. Therefore the horn. headlight. bake/taillight. nd neutral light work correctly. No title. Shipping is the sole responsibility of winning bidder/buyer. Good Luck!
